Please head to the front entrance (Yates Avenue side) and ring the doorbell located to the right of the doors. Once the front office staff has let you and your child in the building, please go to the office (on the left) to drop your child off.
When dismissal plans change, send a note to teacher in the morning with the new information or call the front office prior to 2pm. After 2pm, changes in transportation are not guaranteed to be communicated.
Please contact your child’s teacher so he/she knows your child will be absent. When your child has recovered and is returning to school, please bring a note (including child name, reason for absence, and days absent, and parent/guardian signature) to the front office.
Yes, we do have a lost & found cart on campus! Be on the lookout for the cart to be rolled out to the drop off and pick up areas so you can check for your child's items. You never know what you might be missing until you take a look!
Alternatively, you can always stop by the Community Room (near the front entrance, across from the front office) to check the cart for missing items.
Brentwood is indeed a “nut aware” campus! This means that if a student has a nut allergy, the child's parents or teacher may request that other parents in the class voluntarily try to use non-peanut or tree nut snacks and food items in their kids’ lunch and snacks.
Brentwood staff teaches all students to NOT share food, however parents of children with nut allergies should ensure that their students are well-educated about their own allergies.
If you have a child with a nut allergy, you can find additional recommendations and tips here.
