Halloween Carnival

The PTA-sponsored Halloween Carnival is an annual family-fun event held rain or shine in October. We have games, prizes, snacks, and entertainment for the whole family to enjoy. Carnival goers are invited to wear costumes. This event is an important fundraiser for the Brentwood PTA and Elementary.

Last year, the event took place on Sat, Oct. 20, 2018 from 3 – 6 pm. The 2019 event has not yet been announced.

A hauntingly impressive history

Rumor has it the Brentwood Halloween Carnival dates back to the mid-80’s. It’s one the of the last in Central Austin to include a Haunted House.

In 2018, when 10+ parents volunteered to build it on the Friday before the carnival, the Haunted House was completed in a record 4.5 hours. Tear down on Sunday was even faster.

The Bake Sale, supervised by a costumed bake sale queen/parent, typically sells out by the end. It’s the second most popular carnival activity, behind Haunted House.

How you can help
