To celebrate National Farm to School Month, Austin ISD students are invited to create artwork honoring local farmers and the use of local produce in our cafés. Winning artwork will be used as Farm Fresh Friday’s promotional signage and displayed in all cafeterias across the district.
Themed "Your Story is Your Strength", this is a free conference for families, educators, individuals with dyslexia, and other professionals. Find more details, including speaker information, schedule, and registration, on the event website.
Austin ISD Pride week celebrates LGBTQ+ students, staff and families, and showcases the district's commitment to creating a safe, supportive, and inclusive environment. A committee of parents and teachers have planned activities that will engage, educate, and inspire our kiddos.
Austin ISD is proud to support our lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender and questioning students and staff by marching in the Austin Pride Parade. They invite all to join and help increase the visibility of AISD as an LGBTQ+-friendly district and let the community know that AISD is committed to creating a safe, supportive learning environment for all students.
