Jekyll & Hyde at MacTheatre

A new dream - I have one I know, that very few dream!
— A New Life, Jekyll and Hyde, The Musical

MacTheate is excited to present Jekyll & Hyde, the tale of a brilliant mind gone horrifically awry, set to a pop-rock score with gripping lyrics that will leave the audience asking for more.

After four thrilling, chilling years on Broadway and multiple world tours, this dark and dangerous love story from Tony® and Grammy® Award nominee Frank Wildhorn and Oscar® and Grammy® winner Leslie Bricusse, returns in a stunning new tour de force McCallum production and includes all the classic songs ("This is the Moment," "A New Life," "Someone Like You") that first grabbed audiences by the throat and transformed JEKYLL & HYDE into a theatrical phenomenon.

About the show

In an attempt to cure his ailing father’s mental illness by separating “good” from “evil” in the human personality, talented physician Dr. Jekyll inadvertently creates an alternate personality of pure evil, dubbed Mr. Hyde, who wreaks murderous havoc on the city of London. As his fiancée Emma grows increasingly fearful for her betrothed, a prostitute, Lucy, finds herself dangerously involved with both the doctor and his alter ego. Struggling to control Hyde before he takes over for good, Jekyll must race to find a cure for the demon he has created in his own mind.

Duration: 2 hours and 25 minutes. Parental advisory.

Tickets may be purchased in advance at https://mccallum.ludustickets.com/

  • Student tickets are $7; adults are $16, and seniors are $12. Add $2 for tickets purchased at the door, except at the student rate.

  • Group rates for groups of 10 or more receive a 10% discount when purchasing tickets online.
